English and French Language Immersion Programs

“When I arrived in Canada , I was very excited. One of the college professors picked me up at the airport in Montreal and drove me to the town, where I would live and study for the next six months. At first it was very difficult for me to understand the French and English but after about a month, I had become used to the accent. The people I met were very kind and I have wonderful memories of the friends I made. My French and English language skills improved greatly and I also became familiar with Canadian culture and the weather – the snow and the cold were a challenge for me, but I survived! In today's internationally focused world, second and third languages are necessary to procure good employment. In every industry, language proficiency helps professionals to communicate with their clients and colleagues all over the world. Trade journals and the Internet are valuable resources but in many cases, the information is not in Spanish. At TTT, all students study English and French but many find true fluency is more easily achieved by living in a total immersion environment. Daily exposure to these languages especially helps to perfect oral comprehension and the spoken accent.

TTT facilitates many opportunities for students to improve their linguistic skills. In many cases, scholarships are available. There are programs, designed to suit the needs and financial possibilities of each individual.
