Graduate Internship Programs

I had the opportunity to travel to Mérida, México on an exchange program between NBCC – St. Andrews and TTT. I took classes at TTT, lived with a Mexican family, learned about the culture, relaxed on beautiful beaches and experienced a new cuisine. It was an amazing experience that remained with me when I went back to Canada .

The Graduate Exchange Program opened many doors for me. I returned to México and I was employed as a French teacher at TTT. While back in Merida , I met the man who would become my husband… Dreams do come true!”

Graduate Internship programs allow TTT and its partner colleges' graduated students to participate in a six month work-study internship.

The interns audit classes, tuition free for one semester. An unpaid work internship can also be arranged.

The participating students gain language and inter-cultural skills as well as international work experience that assist them in procuring good employment once they return to their home countries.

Students are selected on the following criteria:

•  Academic standing

•  Second language proficiency

•  Cultural sensitivity

•  Ability to adapt to new surroundings

•  Ability to procure necessary travel documentation and funding

•  Leadership skills
